While in Curaçao, Willie came up to me and said “Hey, let’s shoot a video, since we’re down here.” One of the hotel bartenders herd us talking and suggested a location on the other side of the island – a beach with “black rocks.” We both said “Hell yeah!” Location. Done. That was Wednesday.

On Thursday, we ran around and pulled a crew together (Assst. Dir., production manager, PAs, etc.) consisting of local folks who were down to help out. So, on Friday morning, the crew showed up at 6:30AM for this impromptu video shoot with smiles on their faces, and drove us in their own cars to make it happen.

The beach and plateau turned out to be made up of black, jagged, volcanic rock. The waves crashing against the shoreline shot up a couple of stories above our heads. Whaaaat? I thought “who the fuck else has a video shot in Curaçao!” Yeah. . . perfect.

A production like this would normally take two 16-hour, long-ass, days. We shot the whole video in about 3 hours.
